Well, today, Ethan and I decided to bring them back into the house. Once again, Ethan was my ever-so-helpful assistant.
Mashing the bananas. (You need one cup, think we had more.)
Sifting the dry ingredients. 2 1/2 cups flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp baking soda.
Measuring 2/3 cup butter and 1 cup white sugar. Cream until fluffy. Beat in 2 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla.
Mix in the banana.
Add the flour mixture.
And don't forget the chocolate chips.
Ready to go in the oven for 10 minutes.
And out.
Yummy!

And what was the verdict? Tasty? Can't wait to try this recipe! I've got loads of bananas. Maybe I'll bake them tomorrow.
Few things arew as much fun as baking with the kids. My son gets a litle pissy waiting for the cookies to be done but he certainly enjoys the spoils!
Visiting from the Tea Party.

I love them. And Ethan did too. They have almost a cupcake texture to them.
That is so nice that you do this with your son. Those cookies look wonderful.
Thank you for stopping by and for following me. I am doing the same.
How cute is he! Sounds yummy. And I am going to admit that I had no idea where Dar is.
Those sound delicious - I love chocolate chip and I love banana so that sounds like an excellent combination. Thanks for visiting today!
@waisting time - It's Dar es Salaam, in Tanzania.
@Ashley - What could be better than bananas AND chocolate?!
