This week's You Capture assignment was Vehicles.
Ethan use to be obsessed with the bajaj.
"Mommy, look, bajaj."
"Mommy, bajaj."
"Bajaj."
"Mommy, see, bajaj."
It was really horrible taking him to preschool. We passed a bajaj taxi stand with about 10+ bajajs. And instead of pointing to all of them, Ethan needed to point them out individually.
While he still loves them, his obsession has gone from pointing them out, to wanting to sit in one.
I fear, he'll be the 12 year old secretly driving a bajaj.

Those are so cool. Wish we had those here.
What a neat scooter! We could certainly use those in our big cities!
How fun! Those would be nice except they might not fair the midwest winters all that well.

I'm kind of fascinated by the bajaj too!
I love these! In Thailand they're called a "thook-thook". When I was a kid, I'd always insist - to my parents' general dismay - that we ride in the thook-thook. They're so much fun.
I love when a blog teaches me a new word like...bajaj. Could you blog about how to pronounce it?
@faiza - bah-jah-je
@faiza - can also be called a tuk-tuk or peekey peekey
Those are so cool! I think I've heard them called tuk tuks before too.
I love it. I've never seen one so I'm glad you shared? I know it's a dumb question but where is Dar?
@Stillmary - Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
