Writer's Workshop

Something you do that drives your significant other CRAZY.

If you don't know by now, I'm married to a saint. Seriously. I've been thinking about this prompt all week, and am slightly embarrassed to write about it, as it really points out my flaws, and showcases Scott's sainthood. Check out Scott's pet peeves.

1. I don't cook. At all. And that's fine, however, whenever I'm hungry and have no idea what's for dinner, and despite the fact that my husband is working hard, I yell (because I'm too busy to move), "Babes! What's for dinner?"

2. I'm not exactly a hoarder. More of a clutterer. My stuff is everywhere. Scott calls it a mess, I say it's organized.

3. I'm constantly commenting on my weight.

4. I don't exactly do any housework. I don't mind doing laundry, and if there aren't too many dishes, I'll do those, but that's about it.

5. I tend to leave all the lights on. I enter a room, turn the light off, walk out and forget to turn it off. I usually have a reason, like I'm going to go back in there, but he's not buying it.

6. I'm always on the computer. Or my phone. I don't really see how that's a bad thing, but whatever.

7. I won't drive here.

Now, these are things I happen to know drive him nuts, and therefor I refuse to actually ask him. I'd like to believe these are my endearing qualities, and wouldn't want Scott to have to actually think of things.

See? You're braver than me. I wouldn't even attempt this one because the thought of thinking all those reasons I drive him crazy started driving ME a little crazy(er). :-)

Oh I fool myself that my annoying habits are actually "cute little endearing things" about me. I'm amazed my husband (also named Scott!!) puts up with me.

I applaud your honesty! :) And sadly, I could identify with way too many of these. :)
I especially have to quit commenting on my weight. Poor guy..he can never give a right comment in that area!
This was a fun post!

Cannot wait for the seeds meetup, because we have SO much in common. Hopefully someone will be there who can cook us dinner..... ;)
