Yes, I too love having green around me all year long and like you, I LOVE butterflies. In fact if you were to come to my house you would very quickly see how much I love butterflies. They abound in my decor. I also love elephants, even though I don't get to see them very often. I have a great collection of them though. I have stoppped collecting anything though now. I just don't have any place to put them any more.
We do have lots of butterflies here though. The monarchs are quite beautiful when they arrive. I love your nice photos of them. I need to learn to use our camera. I can't seem to get it right so that is why I have to rely on Dick to take all of our pictures and he hates to do them. Lately he has been using his iphone more than the camera because it has a higher resolution. I have to say that it must be so because I think they are better too.
