The Dinosaur Cake

I'm very proud of Ethan's birthday cake, so I had to share.

We started with two round cakes. Cut one in half to create the body.

Add a tail.

And head.

Time to start icing.

Almost done.

Add some grass, and we're done!

That's awesome!!! I love doing 3D cakes like those. I did a lacrosse stick one year my son and after 1/2 weave fondant "strings" it occurred to me no one would care if the weave was proper for a stick. HAHA

(ps- found you on Mom Loop)

That is awesome! You did a great job. Cole turns 4 at the end of the month. He is still deciding what he wants for his cake. I won't be doing anything as cool as you did, though.

Wow this cake looks amazing! I have always wanted to venture into making my deserts look like fun and I might just have to do this as you make it look so good.

Great job!
