Baking with Ethan - Chocolate Chip Cookies

It's been awhile since I've made chocolate chip cookies, so I thought I'd make some today. I'm a Nestle Tollhouse girl. Love them. But I recently found another recipe that someone claimed were the best. So I had to give them a try.

Sift together 2 cups flour, 1/2 tsp baking soda, and 1/2 tsp salt.

In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar and 3/4 cup melted butter.

Add 1 tsp vanilla, 1 egg, and 1 egg yolk.

Add the dry ingredients.

Stir in 2 cups chocolate chips.
Bake on 165C for 15-17 minutes.

Mmmm cookies!

He looks like he had fun. Teach them young. Our 17 year old daughter is in the kitchen making brownies. I don't have to help or even clean up afterwards.
