The Happiness Project

When I was teaching preschool in Canada, I had a mate comment once that her daughter came home filthy everyday from daycare. She couldn't understand how it was impossible for her daughter (and the daycare) to keep her clean. She came home with sand in her hair, and paint on her clothes. I replied, in my opinion, "a messy child is a happy child".

Keeping that in mind, here's my very messy, yet happy, child.

What a very truthful way of putting it, and indeed mess is what makes one enjoy the experience even more by being completely engulfed in it. Brilliant picture! Love from Ana Goncalves on swapbot. I have linked your blog to my current art and craft blog! http://crafting-insights.blogspot.com

i heartily agree on that whole super messy child is a happy child --- it maens they are enjoying and learning! i have a toddler in my hands and i sure love the fact that i pick him up from daycare filled with sand and soil on his pants and hands --- at least i know he is fully enjoying his day!
