52 Weeks of Happiness - Week 22

The last Saturday of every month is a Dutch Reform Market.
Betti and I decided to check it out.
OMG! It was huge.
(And we were told it was a smaller scale one because of vacation)
You can buy anything and everything.
They have local handicrafts,
wood furniture,
house staff uniforms,
flowers,
fruit and veggies,
food
and much more.

I went absolutely giddy when I came across a home made
pecan pie!

Yes that's right,
pecan pie!!

So much for the no carbs
or even the diet.
But as the lady who sold it said;
"You can't refuse it when it's only once a month."

Happiness is a piece of homemade pecan pie.

I make a pretty good pecan pie myself, but if ever I am offered a piece somewhere else, I will always take it. It is one of my absolute favorites! That market sounds like a great place to shop. Glad you found it so.
